CHALLENGE

Preserving children's artwork is important due to its sentimental value and personal significance. These works often hold special memories and family history, capturing the imagination and creativity of young artists. Proper storage and conservation methods are necessary to ensure the artwork is preserved for future generations.

USERS RESEARCH

My research involved surveying families on how they preserve their children's drawings. Responses can be grouped into three key points:

Sentimental Value

Most families don't discard their children's drawings, suggesting sentimental value.

Temporary Preservation

Families often preserve drawings temporarily before discarding them.

Age Consideration

The child's age influences the artwork's perceived value, with older children's drawings seen as more significant and deserving of preservation.

SOLUTION

The application prioritizes simplicity and efficiency, allowing for seamless management of multiple works. The user is presented with a clean and user-friendly interface, facilitating the organization and storage of their creations in the cloud. The application not only acts as a secure repository for these pieces, but also provides detailed information and descriptions for each work, offering a comprehensive and easily accessible archive

HOW IT WORKS

Image Upload
The app allows you to capture a photo of the child's drawing, then edit it by cropping and coloring it. The edited version can then be saved

Detail
The app allows you to add information such as the creator's name, creation date, audio recording of the creator, and any additional notes to each saved drawing.

Share
The app enables you to share saved drawings with friends and family members so they can also view and enjoy them

Sharing with experts

The app provides the option to

receive a professional opinion from a psychology expert after saving 15 or more drawings. You can choose from a variety of experts and receive their analysis via a video call, where they will interpret the drawings.
